Full SAG and Medical Support: A crew of licensed professional medical personnel, monitoring the route with a team of SAG drivers, will be available to quickly respond to emergencies.

Bike Support: A crew of “bike medics” compliments of Franklinton Cycleworks will be riding along with you. Baer Wheels will have an equipment van and a service tent in Chillicothe. Additional tools will be available at each of the food stops in Waverly and Circleville.

Gear and Transportation: Luggage trucks will deliver your luggage to either Portsmouth High School (indoor overnight and camping included with registration) or Three Bridges Park (staying at a hotel or with friends) in Portsmouth.

Riders starting and ending in Chillicothe for the half-TOSRV will have a luggage truck waiting by the Gazebo in Yoctangee Park.

Sleeping and Shower Accommodations: Group sleeping accommodations and showers are planned at the Portsmouth High School. The majority of TOSRV riders have utilized these gym-floor type spaces. Bring your sleeping pad and bag.  Tent camping may also be available on the green spaces on the school grounds.  Please choose “Indoor sleeping” during the registration proccess (at no additional charge) so we can ensure we have enough gym/indoor spaces to meet our needs. Overflow schools and gyms are available.

You can also choose independent lodging and stay with a friend or at one of the area hotels, bed-and-breakfasts, or AirbnbsClick this link for more information on additional Portsmouth lodging.

Traffic Control: Traffic control via Ohio Highway Patrol and local sheriff’s deputies will be located at all dangerous intersections, ensuring rider safety.

The Experience of Lifetime: TOSRV has a rich history of 60 years and your memories on this trip with friends and family will be those that few people get to experience. Make the most of it! Take plenty of pics with #TOSRV and you might see your photo for years to come!

Achievement: No doubt about it, this is a challenging ride. Training early during the season is a must and your commitment to training will make it more fun and safe.

Beer: The Saturday party in Portsmouth will be in a new location, at Three Bridges Park, just past the 104 bridge as you come into town.  Two live bands, a vintage bicycle show, and the requisite food & fizzy drinks will be available.  Click this link to see more party information from our hosts in Portsmouth!

A post ride celebration with live music on Sunday is being planned for the traditional 2-day TOSRV riders when they return to Columbus.
