Longtime TOSRV Director, Charlie Pace, passed away May 15, 2021 at the age of 90. Charlie’s 50+ years of leadership of TOSRV was the foundation of the bicycle touring industry in the United States. His year-around, daily, and indefatigable work on TOSRV was inspirational. His humble demeanor attracted scores of volunteers and set the spirit of love that permeated TOSRV.
Outdoor Pursuits has created a Charlie Pace Memorial Fund to place a bench/table/structure in Yoctangee Park to honor Charlie’s 50 year leadership of TOSRV. To support this memorial, please make an additional contribution in the appropriate field during your TOSRV registration.
